NFRC is a 72 acre haven for horse lovers and equestrian enthusiasts. Share in the joy of riding, the pursuit of best horsemanship, and the enjoyment of friends and nature on our bucolic property. The farm just off Rt 44/55, approx. 3 miles west of Minnewaska State Park.
Ride year-round beneath the cover of our generous pavilion (70' X 140'); treat yourself and your horse to peaceful trail rides through acres of lightly wooded forests; hack, gallop, or carriage drive our perimeter track, or simply join us for lessons, workshops, and clinics on any one of the Nichols' Field mounts. Our horses and ponies are well-trained, well-cared for and our appreciation for them is evident by their giving nature.

Our facility features a 7-stall center aisle barn with lounge, tack room and spacious grooming area. Each stall, matted and fanned, offers 24-hour access to large pastures with safe and sturdy fencing. Our environment is designed to be pleasant, peaceful and workmanlike for the well being of our riders and horses.
Our riding facilities include a 70 X 140 ft covered arena, and outdoor jump course with numerous cross country obstacles, round pen, a mile long hack-rack for warm-up/cool-down as well as fitness gallops and carriage driving. For those magical walks-in-woods, we have 30+ acres of light forest with wagon roads and riding trails meandering throughout.
